Creating your account
Autonomy Edge accounts are free. The same account works for the web app, the forum, direct messaging, and any organization you join.
Go to edge.autonomylogic.com/signup.
You have two ways to create an account:
- Email and password. Enter your name, email, and a password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number.
- Single sign-on (SSO). Use your Apple, Google, or Microsoft account. The platform pulls your name and email from the SSO provider, so no separate password is required.
After you submit, the platform sends a verification email. You won't be able to use most features (creating projects, posting in the forum, joining organizations) until your email is verified.
Verify your email
Open the email and either:
- Click the verification link, or
- Copy the 6-digit code and paste it on the Verify email code page that opened in your browser after signup.
Email not arriving? See Verification email not arriving in the troubleshooting section.
Go to edge.autonomylogic.com/signin.
Enter your email and password, or use SSO. Check Remember me to keep your email pre-filled on the next visit (the platform stores only the email, never the password).
If you forget your password, click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. You'll receive a reset email; the link opens a page where you set a new password. After resetting you'll be signed in automatically.
What gets created behind the scenes
When you sign up, the platform provisions:
- A user profile with a contribution graph, your stars, and your public projects, reachable from the user menu (avatar → My Profile).
- A personal workspace that holds projects, orchestrators, and devices you own.
- A Community plan subscription. This is the free tier and is enough to run one orchestrator with two devices. See Pricing for what each plan includes.
- A forum identity that uses the same username. Anything you post in the forum is attributed to this identity.
You can change your name, username, bio, avatar, and time zone from Settings → Profile later. You can change your email (one change per 7 days for security) from Settings → Security → Email and your password from Settings → Security → Password.
Reading and browsing without an account
You can read the forum, browse public projects, and view public user profiles without an account. To post, star, fork, or create anything, you need to sign in.
Deleting your account
If you want to remove your account, go to Settings → Account. Deletion is permanent: personal projects, orchestrators, and devices are removed; forum posts and direct messages stay visible, credited to [deleted]. If you own organizations, you must transfer them to another admin or delete them before deleting your account.
